University Test of English Language (UTEL) Test
The pilot test for the UTEL test for the undergraduates was held on the 8th of February 2023 at the Department of English Language. Mr. Mohan Samaranayaka, Head, DELT Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Dr. B.L. Abeywickrama, National Coordinator for UTEL, and Dr. Romola Rasool, Senior Lecturer, University of Kelaniya advised and supported to complete the test successfully. Ms. Clare Fernando, University Coordinator for UTEL for the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, coordinated the test.
Pulsatio 2023
‘Pulsatio 2023’ was organised by the Department of English Language Teaching in collaboration with the new entrants to the Faculty of Medicine. The event was mesmerised by the aesthetic talents of the students.
