The Department of Accountancy signed an MoU with Peoples’ Bank Plc to obtain internship opportunities for the undergraduates of the Department on 27th May 2019.
Based on this MoU the undergraduates of the department shall obtain internship opportunities for 6 months as follows:
The candidate can visit the proximate branch of People’s Bank and check the availability of undergraduate internship opportunities. With the confirmation of the vacancy, the candidate shall visit the Human Resource Management (HRM) division of the bank along with the department-issued placement request letter. With the confirmation of the HRM division, the candidates can begin their training in the stipulated branch.
The candidates are only entitled to government-approved allowance and the training provided is not a qualification to claim a permanent position in the bank.
