In response to industry demands, our Advanced Certificate in Insurance Salesmanship emerges as a pivotal solution, designed to empower insurance practitioners with essential knowledge and ethical practices. This program not only opens doors to career advancement but also serves as a gateway to our comprehensive academic ladder, facilitating seamless progression for aspiring professionals.
The Advanced Certificate in Insurance Salesmanship is a basic academic qualification for the sales forces who provide advice and/or sell General and Life insurance products in Sri Lanka. Therefore, the target group of the proposed programme is as below.
No person shall be considered for admission to the Advanced Certificate Programme unless he/she has any one of the following qualifications.
The Department of Insurance and Valuation will develop a special Learning Management System (LMS) to maintain the program’s teaching and learning quality and to ensure the desired programme learning outcomes are achieved. The University LMS will be used for online teaching & learning activities, evaluation, and course administration purposes.
