Biography

Ms. Asanka Kumudumalee Herath obtained her B.Sc (Special) degree in Banking and Finance with a First Class Honours from Wayamba University of Sri Lanka and has earned her post graduate qualification; MBA from the same university.  She has obtained her post graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from University of Sri Jayewardenapura. Soon after the graduation, she joined the Department of Banking & Finance, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka as an Assistant lecturer. Then she was recruited to Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC (2011-2013) as a Management Trainee. Together with the practical exposure in banking industry, she moved to academic career as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Banking & Finance, Wayamba University in Sri Lanka in year 2013.
