About the Journal
The Wayamba Journal of English Language Teaching is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of English Language Teaching (DELT), Faculty of Business Studies and Finance, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, for the advancement of the ever-evolving field of English Language Teaching (ELT).
This will be a uniquely comprehensive journal dedicated to ELT development from a state university in Sri Lanka as there are no known existing journals that address this specific area of study. As ELT professionals often publish their academic work in multidisciplinary journals, the Wayamba Journal of English Language Teaching offers researchers the opportunity to publish in a specialized journal edited by experts in the field.
Aim
The Wayamba Journal of English Language Teaching aims to publish recent developments and trends in the field of ELT. Hence, the aim of the journal is to provide a platform for ELT educators, researchers and practitioners to share original research work fostering academic dialogue on theories, pedagogies and current issues in the field.
Scope
Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit original, unpublished contributions to this journal, and they should be submitted in English. The Wayamba Journal of English Language Teaching welcomes contributions on a range of topics related to English language teaching.
