AIA INSURANCE LANKA LTD FOR INTERNSHIP TRAINING, SCHOLARSHIP AND SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNDERGRADUATES
The Department of Insurance and Valuation of the Faculty of Business Studies & Finance has signed an MOU with AIA Insurance Lanka Limited to open an avenue for the undergraduates of the Department to provide industrial exposure in the fields of Insurance and Finance.
The name of the Scholarship shall be “AIA Scholarship” and it will be awarded for the overall best performing student of the Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Insurance and Finance at the time of calling the application for the scholarship. The student will be selected based on the AIA scholarship selection criteria of the Department of Insurance and Valuation
The scholarship made shall be as follows:
Cash award (monthly Rs.5,000/- for six months) + Internship training for 6 months with training allowance of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
