Welcome to the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka! Hope this email finds you safe and well.
As you are aware, the Placement Test in English will be conducted online, on 10th May 2021 (Monday).
- The duration of the online placement test is one hour.
- You have to do the online test individually.
- Each student is given a username and a password to access the online test. (Watch the videos for Instructions)

- For the ease of conducting the online placement test, you have been added to one of the groups, namely A, B, C, D, E. Each group is given a particular time slot as follows:
- Group A : 09:00 am – 10:00 am
- Group B : 10:30 am – 11:30 am
- Group C : 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm
- Group D : 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
- Group E : 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Accordingly, you must complete the online test during the given time period based on your group.
- Please check the attachments to find the group you belong to.
- Click on this link: https://lmsk.wyb.ac.lk/course/view.php?id=757 and give your user name and password to take the test.
- Please login to the system 30 minutes before to start the Test.
The placement test is not a pass or fail test. It is conducted to test your existing knowledge in English. So, be honest and fair when you do the online test.
